  • Ingredients: Gunpowder Green Tea, Lemongrass, Butterfly Pea Flower, Organic Natural Violet Flavor
  • Caffeine: 20 mg./8 oz. serving, compared to 150 mg./8 oz. coffee
  • Basic Instructions: Steep in hot water 3-4 minutes. Green tea is best in “just off” boiled water, or about 170-185 degrees F. Squeeze in lemon juice to see the color change!
  • Serving Ideas: Great hot or iced. For extra fun, brew and freeze the tea in ice cube trays, then blend with lemon juice and honey for a blue and purple slushee.

Ultraviolet tea

Soothing and aromatic with a taste that reminds me of a gum from my childhood, it is also visually pleasing to the eye as it turns a lovely shade of teal when hot water is added. And with milk, the color is more inviting. Reminds me of a paint palette.
